rewards

Last nite, the hospital in which I am employed had a recognition dinner. I have gave them 15+ years of service! WOW, I never thought I could stay in a position for so long. Now I have worked in various departments, as a nurse, but, 15+ years, am I crazy?? It's a great place to work at seriously folks. My neighbor has been there 30+ years!!!WOOT! now that's a long time.

NORMALCY

Things here at my place have been utterly normal and mundane. Been working at the hospital, watching GB movies, surfing the GB.Net site... then there's the mundaneness of housework, and everyday life. Of course, the weather is still a drag, but today there is a high of 30 degrees! Some of this snow just might melt!

What does eveyone else find interesting about the normal and mundane? What do you do to keep busy? Dream about Spring and all its beautiful flowers? Plan a vacation?
Let me know...Thanks.

GB.net

to enjoy Gerry Butler
here is where most of my drooling posts shall now be... thanks to mike for the lesson in links.

Warning

As this blog is frequently accessed by my children, I will now be editing comments or links of questionable nature. While I appreciate the adult humor posted here, it is imperiative that this site be kid friendly, (no links where there is adult content that can be viewed.) That being said, I hope I don't turn anyone away from leaving comments. If more adult nature needs to commented on, please email me.

Thanks!

Movies

Have seen 3 ofGerard Butler's previous movies over the last few days. Yes, I have much time off from work... the first was lara croft tomb raider, it was so-so. he was great! next was Dracula 2000. corny, but good jobGerry!. Fangs have never been sexier! last but not least was a made for tv movie about three years ago released on dvd from usa network called Attilla. what a great movie, i have to say this must have been the movie that made him noticable. If you like Braveheart, Gladiator, Troy, ect., you should check it out. He really is a accomplished actor, he really gets into his characters. Very Believable. At one point I swear the Huns were running around and I was so sure he would say "WHAT's in YOUR WALLET?"(capital one ads...)

something different

Questions from Mike...

1.If you weren't a nurse, what would you do?
probably be in animal health care...although, sometimes what i do is very similar...

2. Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life?
There's a movie????Who will play the Phantom??

3.What book have you read the most times?
Hmmm, not quite sure, maybe an Ann Rice Vampire compilation. The Vampire Lestat(Interview with the Vampire) comes to mind. I really enjoyed Taltos, and the books about the Mayfair Witches. Hail to the darker side of life!

4.What song do you think was written just for you?
Is this gonna be on the soundtrack of my movie? if not, then Fat bottomed Girls by Queen.

5. What will you name your next cat?
Oscar(OsceeBoy).

THIS OR THAT

Beatles or Stones? BEATLES
Harry Potter or Lemony Snicket? HP
Beer or Wine? WHHIINEE
Chocolate or Vanilla? CHOCOLATE
Picard or Kirk? Hands down, it would have to Picard. He stimulates my intellect as well as my loins...

Gerard Butler

As promises here have already been broken... I hear that Gerard Butler is going to appear on monday nite's WB Critics Choice Awards hosted by Eric McCormack (Will&Grace), the time for this event is 8:00-10:00 pm eastern standard time. Sources have it that he is presenting an award! Also, he will be the guest Tuesday nite in the Jay Leno show. I'm sure by now Gerry is on his way too California for these shows. Damm! Wish I was packed in his carry on case... Better find a blank vhs tape!

Sweet Intoxication

Well, this might be news for some of you, but here at my house, there is a sweet intoxication with all things Phantom. From the wonderfully scripted movie interpretation and the most appealing music score of all time, i cannot seem to get enough! I find myself hearing the songs in my head almost constantly, and watching each scene over and over as well. I also went through this phase after seeing Van Helsing (here I was swept up by the Dracula character.) I must admit, I am not sure how well I remember the music included in that movie... Anyway, I solemny swear not to just discuss only the Phantom or Gerard Butler on this site. Although, he is...the movie is...the music is... Breathtakingly sexy.....the best movie ever...romantic....
