Last nite, the hospital in which I am employed had a recognition dinner. I have gave them 15+ years of service! WOW, I never thought I could stay in a position for so long. Now I have worked in various departments, as a nurse, but, 15+ years, am I crazy?? It's a great place to work at seriously folks. My neighbor has been there 30+ years!!!WOOT! now that's a long time.

i think some careers lends themselves more to stability than others. i mean it is natural for a nurse to get a job and work at a large area hospital...plus the fact that you can (and have) switched departments gives you a fresh start...
